People are at the heart of what we do...
Working in the contract catering and hospitality industry we do know the true value of our people who deliver the Kudos experience day in and day out. These people are the key to our success so, in the first instance, we make sure that we recruit people who are passionate about what they do, be it cooking, service, sales, accountancy. We then ensure that we give them all the support they need to do a fantastic job and we reward our rising stars when they go above and beyond what is expected of them.
When people join Kudos, we make sure that they receive all the support they need to do a fantastic job by pairing them with a buddy and we invest in dedicated training in terms of management, supervision and craft skills.
In addition, we want our staff to have the opportunity to influence the direction of the business, so we have created avenues such as staff forums, where our people have the opportunity to influence what we do and are able to contribute to the way we are running the company at all levels.
Our focus on developing and nurturing the talent within our business has been recognised and noted externally, with accreditations such as 'Investors in People' being achieved across our business, namely in venues such as Church House Conference Centre and Gibson Hall.
When our people demonstrate their commitment to the business and go above and beyond client, internal, and their own expectations, we have initiatives in place such as the employee of the month, the long service awards and annual 'K Awards', to reward and recognise their efforts to help make Kudos a success.
